Ground Beef, Onion
Open Faced Sandwich

Some people call this a recipe for
making a "loose Meat" sandwich.
I call it good eats!
Simply fried ground chuck
along with some seasoned onions
served on rye bread slices.
The sour cream sauce is awesome!

Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 small onion, peeled and chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
salt
black pepper
garlic powder
Rye bread slices
Cucumber sour cream sauce (Recipe follows)

Directions:
Place onion and olive oil in a pan,
season with salt, pepper and
garlic powder to taste.
Saute on high to brown onion,
about 5 minutes or so, stirring.
Add ground beef and stir to break up.
Season with more salt if desired.
Lower heat to medium while stirring.
The oil will be absorbed by the meat.
Keep stirring until nicely browned.
The grease will have seperated from the meat.
Remove beef and onion with a slotted spoon.
Place on slices of rye bread.
Top with some cucumber sour cream sauce.
Serve.

Cucumber sour cream sauce:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teasoop sugar
1 teaspoon vinegar
1 small cucumber, peeled and minced

Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a bowl,
refrigerate ubtil use.
